Hello.

I have an 18" clown knife in a 125g by himself. Anyone have an idea if this tank size is unacceptably small for him? If so what would be a good minimum enclosure?

Thanks, D

what keepinfish is saying is that the tank needs to be wide enough for the clown knife to turn around comfortably

A 180g is probably a minimum tank size for these guys.

Thank you! I would rather that he be happy & give him up, then feel cramped in my tank.
I'll probably post him in the classified section for sale or possible trade.

OK here's the thing, I live in a small place w/ 6 cats, the 125, a 55L reef, 50gal planted community tank & a 5.5 gal planted. If I could get a good deal on a 180 and convince myself to make room/omit another tank then it just might work.
I really don't want to lose him.

Is it an option to sell off the other tanks and then get yourself the 180 (or more) in its place?
