More common name bull crap...anyway, I know that Dwarf Pleco and Clown Pleco are both names for the same fish, but this was labeled as Dwarf Clown Pleco by the LFS. Sorry for the crappy quality of picture, it's the best I could do. For some reason, my camera tries to focus on the glass instead of what's just past the glass.

This guy hasn't grown at all since I've had him, he's maybe 3 inches including his tail. He has a nice fat belly, so I know he's eating. He's rasping on a small piece of Mopani in the picture.

I guess I'm just looking for some clarification about the name. If I understand correctly, there are multiple species by the name of "clown pleco?" Is that correct? I'm a goldfish person, plecos aren't really my forte...

I got another, clearer picture. Just thought I'd share it with everyone. I love this little guy, he's so dang cute....when he's hot hiding that is!

Man..the pics always look better on the Evo's screen than on the computer :(

I have the Panaque maccus aka common old Clown pleco. I have had her for 4 years now. She is only 3" but FAT. The females get really wide behind the head the males will be a bit more slim. They are so hard to get a good photo of.
