Clown plecos

I have two, small clown plecos. Got them years ago. I'm wondering if its possible to sex them or even breed them?

I also have BN plecos. Gave away a few months ago & kept one male & 2 possible females.

They all get along great. 125gal, planted, wood, rock hidies, too.

Yes, males get bristles on the like fine hairs on the back half-ish part of their body. Females are plumper and slightly smaller and don’t get the bristles.
I will see if I still have some pictures of mine floating around.

3 of the 4 clowns in my fish room. My sexing skills are not strong yet. I am still in training on these guys. Mine are housed in a 29g with alder log caves and small gravel. The main filter is an AC50 and then power head.


Male, note the odontids on the tale

Check the papile. Males are more pointed, females are round. I think this is a female.

My males haven’t shown off their gill plate odontids before. I was trying to determine if I was actually supplied 2 WC L104s through an online purchase. One appears to be a L067 but I digress. Here are a couple pics of what I speak.
