I added co2 to my planted 20 long. I got a UNS mini regulator from buceplant.com and I am running a fluval 2.0 as my light. The co2 keeps running out within days. I’m confused because I keep seeing people that make the paintball canisters last months. Help!

Yes, I run it at 2 bubbles per second. My drop checker read green as well.

There is an obvious leak then. Soap & water test may detect connection leaks. What kind of tubing are you using?...hope it’s not silicone tubing.

It’s co2 proof tubing. How do I soap and water test?

Liquid dish washing soap diluted a bit...turn on reactor to medium flow then apply with your finger at every connection or all over...careful with the electrical. Watch for bubbles from soapy water.

I’ve ran the same 20 lb CO2 tank averaging 2-3 bubbles per second 6 to 8 hours per day in a 75 gal tank for nearly 2 years now.

I use a neo diffuser right now. What do you reckon is the best way to diffuse co2 into an aquarium?

I use a CO2 reactor I made myself. I started off with regular air stone type diffuser. Simple to make...although, you’d still need the regulator and bubble counter.
