anyone ever heard of a coelacanth in a home aquarium?

i really dont know much about them, i know a few in london have them but i havent really looked either

A coelacanth is a deep water fish, it reaches very large sizes, and it would be very unlikely they would survive a transfer to any aquarium. Plus, they are probably one of the most highly endangered species, I doubt it would be possible to get a permit. For more info on the coelacanth, visit:

They might have dead specimens, but there in no live coelacanth in captivity.

If you really want to learn about the Coelacanth, buy the book "A Fish Out of Time" on ebay. I got it for $8.00 on ebay. Top 5 books I have ever read.

Was it really that good a book? Heres my pet dinofish, currently in a 7 ft display and i use a different liquid to water though to simulate the deep water. Very peaceful, energy conserving fish. enjoy...
