Hello
I have this 100 gallon plexiglass/acrylic aquarium that I fixed up a couple of years ago. It was really scratched but sanded it down. I didn't go crazy on the sand down but enough to get the small scratches out. When I was sanding I couldn't really get these smaller ones out but to find out it was the crazing. They are on the outside of the aquarium and not the inside. They don't seem bad nor see any cracking. I researched online to see if mine are bad but can't really find a straight answer. I wanna get other opinions to see if mine are truly bad or if I'm okay to move forward. Thank you guys!!!

Looks fine/normal to me… crazing is basically stress fractures in the outer layer of acrylic where its under the most pressure. Usually caused by bowing. It can also be caused by certain chemicals/cleaners used on the tank like acetone or alcohol. If you heat up the acrylic it will reveal these marks as well. All older tanks are pretty likely to have this. My worst is a 40+ Yr old 500g… still goin strong 💀🤞… it bows pretty badly and the crazing is at the highest point of the bow. Dead center on the front panel unfortunately. Id run ur tank with no worries at all. Its just cosmetic for the most part. Just keep an eye on it for spreading or deepening of the micro fractures.
