Confused about breed...

Herewith attaching a picture where I am confused about the breed...weather it's PEARL AROWANA or JARDINI AROWANA....

Please help !!!

There are only two species of arowana in Australia; Jardini (sometimes called pearl) and Leichardti (sometimes called spotted) arowana. I'm not very confident at giving an ID on young australian arowanas but jardini tend to have a more curved back (head points downwards) and a leichardti has a more straight back (head points more forward without a large noticeable curve) when adults. Additionally, although I don't know if it's true, leichardtis are said to have shorter barbels compared to Jardinis.

ravi .. as we told you in your last thread a pearl arowana is the same as a jardini arowana..

as far as the difference between the 2 australian breeds read above..

you got 2 jardini, leichartdi has a longer slim body when young and have less pearls, has a small reddish dot in the scale.
