I snagged a potted crypt at the lfs. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a label. I’m leaning towards C retrospiralis. Any thoughts from the hive mind?

It could be. It is difficult to recognize several more or less similar Crypts, until they are fully grown. C. undulatus and C. usteriana are similar although the latter grows bigger and is less commonly found. Nice plants; just grow them out and keep comparing to photos in the Tropica site and others.
If you have the time, and the desire, this site is the bee's knees.
