Hi All, thanks to everyone for your support over the years. We need your help again to solve a mystery.
I was told this white gob was likely a harmless cyst, and a result of old age, but now there are 3. Two of them are big around 5-6mm and a third is very small, only 1.5mm across. (Pardon the floating particulate in the image, pic was taken in the middle of a water change, during cleanup)
We have a 120gallon tank, he shares it with just ONE other fish. Use an api master chem test kit and do water changes 2x a week, 30% on a Wednesday usually and then 50% on Sundays. They get fresh food 2x a week and are hand fed. They are well loved and well cared for fish.
Tank is about 14 years old. Goldie is about 10 years old and is a rescue. He is about 7” long.
Any ideas on these gobs? Are they just a sign he’s getting older? Should we worry?
We just did a water change so our nitrates etc are zeroed back out.
