My old guy was feisty and grubbing yesterday morning, then last night was hiding in corner not wanting food, no gasping, whenever a silver dollar would come near him too long he would kinda just mouth them away.
He looked perfect.

Water was good, but low so i did a water change, with prime. He was dead this morning.
I got him full grown pry 5 years ago.
I just notice though that with all the severums i've kept in my 35 years, unless they are getting beat up or stressed, they just die over night when they do die.
In the older fish can it just be that fast, heart attacks, organ failure, what?
