I am a Good Friend of Joey & went to see him yesterday and all seems well but still very emotional! He has been in the Hospital since the New Year. 2012
He wants to Extend a MFK Family Hello, to all! and let you know he is in good spirits! His Recent Prognosis is LEUKEMIA a.l.l, which is a very rare and aggressive cancer. Joey's Family and Myself are setting up a BLOOD DRIVE. If anyone is interested, Pls contact me via PM or @562-637-3520. All is welcome to donate blood! guys and girls. What he needs the most is Platelet Donation, only thing that if you decide to do platelets for him MEN are only desired as females can only donate blood. Prayers are always welcome and believe it or not it works wonders as well! I am trying to set a meet spot @ a local kaiser in city of Bellflower or norwalk california this saturday JANUARY.21,2012. between the hours of 9-12pm. Other activities during that day, is we will be developing a portfolio and taking pictures for him for remembrance of his journey to recovery, so he can look back and remember that there are still good hearts out there! Other options, if you cannot make it to this desired location, is that you can go to any Kaiser Hospital and donate for him in SOCAL only.
