Hi People,

I have decided to add Co2 to my 20g planted tank. I don't have much money to spend on it so was looking at a DIY kit like this

Whilst looking I had found this

Out of these two options which would you go? I know they aren't going to be the best.

Cheers

Probably the Poly section
personally would just save up for a better regulator. you wont regret it. you will however regret a cheap reg that leaks out all your co2 or poisons your tank. and diy systems get to be a pain in the rear very quickly. i did diy systems for years and after switching to a nice reg and pressurized system with a custom inline reactor my only regret is not doing it sooner.

CO2 regulator (not a cheap one) saves time, can be turned off at night with a solenoid on a timer, better precision...

DIY will work but you have one more thing to manage/feed, a regulator is set and forget.
