So I've been thinking about making my own fish food for awhile and finally i just went for it. I used the basic guidelines and recipes online to come up with my own probably worst version lol. I added the garlic, probiotics, paprika, few approved herbs, and a bunch of veggies and all that but i also had an idea and i believe it worked well.

My fish dont really eat from the top but from the bottom and i also have an overflow since the tank is large. So to avoid the food going straight to the filter i need sinking food, but i have 4 or 5 types of floating food just wasting away. So i added the floating food to the gelatin goo as well. After the food was complete it sinks perfectly well and the fish are filling their bellys.
Now i know that probably defeats most of the purpose of creating healthy fish food but it sure was a good way of not letting expensive foods go to waste.
Anyone using similar methods or interesting ways of feeding their fishes?

I sometimes use kabob sticks to feed creatures who prefer to hide in hard to get to areas, but I often hand feed critters individually to make sure everyone gets enough.
