I was asked about how my stands are constructed so here they are.
60g acrylic (24in cube): flat 2x6s and 2 layers of 3/4in plywood on 9x18 cinder blocksPXL_20220513_231821796.jpg
100g acrylic (60in x 18in x 24im: 2x6 laid flat and 2 layers of 3/4 plywood on 6x18 cinder blocks PXL_20220513_231747627.jpg
140g acrylic (60in x 24in x 22in): 2x6 with single layer of 3/4 plywood on 9x18 block. 1/2in foam cushion.PXL_20220513_233321437.jpg
Under the 140 are 2 cross braces

220g glass (72in x 24in x 30in): salvaged 2x8s and 2 layers of salvaged 1/2in plywood on 9x18 block. 1/2in foam cushion. This was the hardest to level. I borrowed a laser level from a buddy.PXL_20220513_231851793.jpg
Underside of the 220

260g acrylic (84in x 30in x 24in) on 2x8s and 3 layers of 3/4in plywood on 9x18 block. 1/2in foam cushion.PXL_20220513_231830699.jpg
Under the 260g came drilled for center drains but I capped with acrylic and added a side mounted overflow. I had drilled the stand before changing my mind.

So you added the cross bracing underneath instead of extra blocks for clearance / filtrattion, right?

Nice builds, btw.

Thank you. Yes and no, their just overbuilt. There's a calculator for determining sag across a span, https://rb.gy/pc1xj4, that I use. I am planning on removing the center pier on the 220g so I can install a sump.
