Do fish scales grow back?

Hi, i was just wondering if fish scales grow back. Because my arowana has some mi ssing scales, thanks

Im also positive that they will. Most fish loose scales in fights and breeding, so I dont see why they wouldnt grow back.

Yes your aros scales will grow back. Most likely it will lose more scales down the road too so don't be alarmed.

Thanks, and im finally on my way into monster fish keeping, i just got my 400G tank today, and its got my jardini in it right now, thats it so far, but hes happy as hell, he ate the first day, and gobbled down a quarantined feeder

just keep the water as clean as possible. scales and fins grow back pretty quick. it won't hurt to add some melafix, but it's not necessary either.

Sometimes scales do not grow back, especially from burn scars. Most of the time they will.
