Hi everyone. Recently I have been considering getting 2 female pearl stingrays.
Question 1:
The following photos are of the selection at my lfs. I wanted a more expert opinion on how they looked, and if anyone notices any red flags. They all did appear to eat, and have been at the store for about a week. Considering picking them up a week from now, in which I will ask to see them eat again.
Question 2:
Also? What gender should I get the stingrays, would 2 females be smart, or 2 more males? I have 1 male pearl stingray (about 8") in which I would like to house with the 2 new ones once they reach the correct size and I upgrade the size of the aquarium. Just curious if dominance will be a problem if I add 2 males, or if it doesn't matter?
Tank:
Temporarily a 180 gallon 4'x4x18" aquarium + 100 gallon sump (This is simply for housing them as pups)
(This tank will be upgraded to more than double the square footage once stingrays grow larger)
