Do uarus have teeth? My poor Angelfish!

Came home yesterday from dinner my angelfish had a big part of his/her tail missing. It looks like someone took a big bite. Some scales were missing and the eye was cloudy. All in a matter of 2.5 hrs. I did a 75% wc the night before. Heres a pic of him/her today eye cleared up but u can see the tail. Ive never seen my uarus bother any other fish except to chase off at feeding time but never the angels. That bite in the tail is big! They are the only ones w a mouth thst size. Anyone know if uarus doing that to another fish?

All cichlids have teeth. A lot them have their teeth located in the back of the throat.

They can leave bite marks in driftwood, so they certainly do have strong teeth! I've never had trouble with them damaging another fish like that though, but I wouldn't put it past them entirely...

Its a mystery. The angel is not shying away from them or anything. I didnt realize they had such big teeth!

So strange!
