AgreeIt's called fungus.
It happens to most driftwood, it's harmless, plecs will eat it and it usually will go away after a week or two.
Okay, as long it nothing harmful than everything is good, there will be a clown pleco, otocinlus, cories, and shrimp in the tank when I stock it, but as of now it has only been cycling for about a month and I want to give it some more time; figured I would start getting fish in the spring once the tank is about 5 month old. Thanks guys, I’ll be able to sleep tonight!
I also plan on getting snails! The only differences between this other tank that I have driftwood in is this tank is heated and I used planted aquarium substrate, figured I may add a live plant or two and that it would be better for the bottom dwellers I planned to get, like the cories (easy on the whiskers)
