Does anyone know why certain Peacock Bass have red eyes and some have a more yellow?

Hi i was just wondering why some pbs have red eyes and some have yellow? Ive seen one kind of bass come with red and yellowish orange eyes. Red seems to always look red and the ones with yellowish eyes seem to go in and out to orange. Is there any specific reason for this?

different sp., from what i know Orinos eyes turn out to be a deep red.. not to sure about the rest though..

orinos, some wild monos, occelaris, sp cearas and some tems have red eyes.. mostly all wild caughts will have red eyes from time to time and orinos and occelaris always have red eyes

Occellaris usually have red eyes, not sure about the other species

Im talking about you having 2 fish of the same speices but one having red eyes and another having yellow but thanks for all the replys so far.

ones eyes will get more red with more anger

hmm are you sure that they are the same kind? what size are they?
