I have a 75 gallon with a Fx4 canister filter.
Sand substrate.
I am hoping to stock it with 1 Blood parrot,1 severum and 1 electric blue acara.
Maybe some bottom dwellers
Does this work or is it slightly overstock?? I want to try to avoid aggression as much as possible.

Thank you for any information anyone can provide.

Personally, that sounds like a good stock, and for bottom feeders you could do a delhezi bichir or 1-2 rope fish, or an elephant nose fish. But if you were to get bottom feeders like that, get more plants than just what looks to be 2 Java ferns. Hair grass is a cool plant that will give you a nice carpet on the bottom of the tank. You might have to trim it a bit

Thank you.
I read that severum and acara will eat/dig up plants so I haven't gone too wild with planting just yet.
Guy a LFS says it's over stocked and I can only have 1 severum with nothing else... But from what iv read on here,.people do it all the time in a 75 gallon.

Don’t trust those LFS people. They are there to make money. Nothing else. You could do 2 severums and a delhezi.

If you go with a severum most plants will be eaten. Some do work though. Right now I have mine in with dwarf water lettuce and salvinia (floaters) mine ate all my duckweed. I also have some elodea and Brazillian pennywort both of which he leaves alone. Ive also heard good things about anubias.

Have not heard anything about acara and plants.
