My oldest daughter found a small fuzzy little spider in the house one day. It looked like a skinny trantula. Well, I had a real small baby (human) at the time and I may have been in the middle of a nursing session or diaper duty, but my oldest wanted to get rid of it, and I did not want to bother with it so I told her " Just give it to the fish".
I have juv oscars, and one grabbed it, spit it out and another ate it. Both were on the bottom of the tank in a matter of an hour or so, gasping for breath, then the next morn, one died. The one that died was the eater, the other got over it in a few days.
So now we just squash any spiders and thow them in the trash.
Who would have thought?
