I'd bet that the sturgeon's feelers encountered one or two of her hairs in the water and that was just an automatic reaction. No harm intended.

Sturgeon stole the show. I love when you get a little something extra, an unexpected bonus, "Lagniappe" the Cajuns call it. In this case a live feeding in addition to a mermaid dance.
If my tank is big enough to swim in then I’m going to, she’s living the dream (except for the brief being eaten part).
