Dried meal worms

I personally would feed African Butterfly fish Flukers freeze dried meal worms. In rotation with other foods.
My fish eat the large freeze dried mealworms for chickens. I soak them a bit in Boyd's. My O goes berserk for 'em. He'll grab a mouthful and CRUNCH. My chocolate gulps them too.

I feed them to my fish. I got mine in a big bag in the wild bird feed section at the store. As long as nothing is added they are fine.
Same here you can find them bagged for feeding insectivorous birds like blue birds.
On word of warning, the dried exoskeleton of the worms can be hard for the fish to digest so view them an alternate food source not as a staple.

I also feed my oscars meal worms although I don't add the vitamins. I give them vitamins in other foods. I treat these as a "treat".
I have been using the Flukers brand.
Sometimes the silver dollars even grab them.
They are a bit fatty as a food so I don't use as a staple food. But yes they love them.
