Can someone please help me figure out if I missed my jack dempseys laying eggs.. They are acting like they laid eggs but I just noticed all this behavior yesterday when it looked like they were spawning but I didn't see any eggs... I saw little tiny clear dots coming out of my female and go on her fins and she would shake them off. My male also was acting like he was breeding, he had something protruding out of him that was clear. But it was just hanging there. I heard it was an egg tube from prior post. I'm new to this and have no Idea what's going on.. How this works.. The stages of breeding, what the eggs look like when laid and how they get fertilized.. And maybe I had already missed the eggs being laid?... They have dug a ditch today and cave. There is also all this brown stuff on the ground that looks like algea to me. But my male keeps going to it and rubbing on it.. And tonight my female had something clear hanging from underneath her. I've also seen a tube like object floating around that I assumed was poop and my me ate it... Can someone please tell me what I should be doing here lol I'm not really getting any answers to all this. Mainly because I didn't see any eggs.
