We have an extra Eheim 2217 canister for sale.

$160 pick-up near 44233 Ohio.

Includes (see photos):
- blue coarse foam, black carbon pad, and white poly-pad.
- Eheim quick disconnect 'double-tap' fittings, and all grey connectors for water pipe.
- 4 suction cups, and 4 C-shape pipe clasps.
- (In/Out) Water pipes, and spraybar.
- Canister O-ring, pump head and canster body.
- Eheim inflow and outflow water return hose (trimmed, but still all there).
- 2 circular lattice screens.
- Eheim MECH hollow ceramic rings.
- extra ceramic/stone bio media from new/unused AquaClear filters and other canisters seen in photo included.

The canister is new.
* The green hose has been trimmed with expectations of using the filter this year, but still unused.

We actually purchased an Oase Biomaster at the same time, and never completed this Eheim 2217 installation.
The current aquarium build was going to get an Eheim 2217, or the Oase BioMaster.

As much as we love our other model 2217 Eheim, the Biomaster is faster to clean, so we are placing this extra Eheim up for sale.

We have had Eheims for years and they run great, but when it comes down to ease of getting the canister to the sink to clean, we realized we really like the Biomaster series.
Longevity of the Biomaster series is something we will have to learn about as we go.

You are welcome to have additional parts to the Eheim 2217 filter sale.

We can add in a new 2217 O-ring kit, and 2 pump covers ('take-offs') from our 2217 Eheim canisters that we have in storage.

For us, this third Eheim model 2217 canister is not needed.
Too much equipment is sitting in storage!

This year, we have been using a Biomaster 600 that took the place of the Eheim 2217.
The Eheims are going to be our back-ups if our Oase biomaster 600 fails.

Tip:
2217 Pump covers:
Users of Eheim 2217 do not really need to use the pump cover, and can attach hose direct to the pump's output (see photo).

You are welcome to have the take-offs from our other 2217s and the O-ring kit with the sale.

We have a love/hate relationship with this new BioMaster 600.
It is a very easy canister to clean and reattach to the tank, but purges air into the tank every so often.

Eheim 2217s are solid units. They are just not as fast to service.

We have plenty of other random Fish gear in storage, such as pumps, air pumps, hydro sponges, heaters, Tunze wavemaker, and a 20x20x20 aquarium.
