I got a a few of the new Eheim Pro 4 canisters...
Pro 4e 350
Pro 4+ 600
The new black tubing that it comes with just sucks so bad it's so frustrating, always bending and crinking no matter what I do. I really think the Pro 3 was a better filter all around and in no way are the Pro 4's an upgrade.
Anyone had this tubing problem and is there and solution other than buying the green hose?

All of my eheim cannisters have always got the green stiff hoses on delivery. I would not change out them for any other hoses even if i got paid to do so. Eheims green hoses are some of the best hoses on the market IMO

I have a pro 4 + 250 350 and 600 as well but have'nt had a problem with the hoses .when I installed the filters I ran each hose through a bowl of hot water to make them more managable didnt have a crinkling problem but the green hoseing seem to be superior eheim seem to be going backwards got to be careful wehe taking apart in case you break something.

I got a 2080 one 2260 one 2262 and one eheim classic something. A small cannister and all of then have the green hose.
I wanna make a statement that eheims old filters like the 2260 and 2262 is far more superior then the newer cannisters.

Yes I feel the same way I have a 2080 that has been running for almost 15 years now and I never had any issues at all.
The new Pro 4 600 connection valve got stuck on me during it's second cleaning and ended up just snapping off. I had to buy a new one.

I think my 2262 is the first generation ever made. Its not the classic green cannister but it is gray. I just love those filters. They are work horses. My 1262 pumps impeller melted for me some while ago when it got to much air trapped in it and got destroyed. I thought the whole pump got screwed but i was wrong. About 50 usd later i still got my pump running. And that pump is at least 25 years old.
