Hi guys, I have my been thinking about getting the above mentioned Cichlid species.

My first priority is to have each of them in a separate tank.

However, if I am ever to mix any of them, which combination may work?

I understand Cichlids are aggressive and territorial fish species. But share your experiences / advice.

Thank you.

Don't do the frontosa they need big tanks and like to be in groups. The green terror, JD and blue acara can all live together while young in a big enough tank. They maybe able to live together as adults with enough territories but it all depends on the fish. There is no right or wrong answers with cichlids as long as you have a big enough tank. You just have to try.

I am currently keeping an adult GT, a subadult Frontosa and a pair of EBA, among a few other cichlid in a 75 gal tank. No way I can keep more than one large GT or Frontosa without killing one another, but for smaller EBA, I can keep a breeding pair.
