I love my fish. I keep a breeding group of Elongatus Chewere. But I want to keep other kinds of cichlids with them. I keep adding fish and they kill them. They killed 3 redtop hongis I put in there, they killed a red zebra I put in there, they even killed the bushynose pleco that I had to clean up the algae.:irked:
Can someone tell me what would be a nice color african cichlid to put in there with them ?

What tank are they in mate?
It seems they have claimed the whole tank as their own, which tells me its a small(ish) tank.

What kind of decoration do you have also?

You should have lots of rocks and caves.

If it is simply a territorial thing, then you could get around it by removing the 2 chewere, moving the rock around, introducing the new fish, then putting the original 2 back in last.

Malawis are an extremely agressive fish, people seem to forget that.
Keeping them in larger groups tend to calm the aggression alot.

Good luck.
