Endy's dorsal fin got bitten off. Will it heal?

Hi All

My endy's dorsal fin got bitten off. Do you think this will heal? Need experts to advice me. Thanks in advance!

yes it will heal with a proper meaty diet, clean water and a little sallt. that injury is nothing copared to my bichirs where both of it's pectoral were bitten off. It took a few weeks for them to grow back, but not completely like before.

There's no way that fin is growing back. The dorsal spine is completely gone.
The membraneous section of a fin will grow back if it is damaged, but not if the damage goes down to the base of the fin. From the looks of that picture, the entire fin was removed.

Yes, JamesF is absolutely correct.
The finlet is completely gone including the spine, it will very likely NOT grow back.

Ok thanks. Actually it is a really beautiful bichir. With or without the fin. I just hope that miracles can happen..
