Wow.

I registered for MFK this morning and this was the first thread I opened to have a peek.

Its taken a good . . . . 7 hours to read. It truly is EPIC. I look forward to your future exploits. I cannot believe the dedication here! Phenomenal.

Right?!? Why that question on a thread called Epic overhaul/builds??

:screwy:

Justin, showed my wife some pics of Geos hoping she would like (because I am a closet Geo fan) and she said it was one of the ugliest fish she had seen...:(

Oh well, I feel a chnage in one of my tanks coming on (or a new one:D)
I agree with the wife! :nilly:

Yeah, when Matt gets those new BGs in, I might gut my 125 as well and redo the silicone. Or maybe get a 180 or somethin... probably not for now. That 125 came out really well, damn that GEII.

Promised myself no more big tanks until I move. :irked:
Floors are being pushed to their limits. :D

Update from last nights/todays progress. I wasn't able to reseal the 45 gallon. At best if I reseal it tomorrow I am looking at Thursday before moving all of the dwarf cichlids from the 125 to the 45. All of the fish in the 300 gallon have been sold preparing for the new CA Veija community. All of the wood from the 125g is now soaking out in the 300. Only an 8" male rotkeil severum, a hydor V sponge and FX5 are running that tank.

The 125 is back to sand and rocks. I am not sure how I want to scape this for the festae pair but considering this will be their "growout" / permanent tank once a pair has formed, I still have time on my side to hardscape it. Obviously it won't be blackwater as it is today. Any ideas?

As far as growing out the festae I think an FX5, two hydor V sponges and 40watt UV sterilizer will keep the little ones above average healthy. ;)

All the changed plans and effort is around these little guys. In the temp tank right now with a handicapped BN pleco...

It feels wierd having just worked my butt off on two tanks to turn around and redo them but meh, these are HOT fish and I have spent years waiting to keep them. :D ............
