Erie PA...let's get something going

I live in Warren PA, about an hour and a half from Erie. Would really like to get a club together focusing on large/rare fish. I'm a member of EAS, and it's great, but most people in that club are more impressed by a guppy than a ray, arowana, or poly! Looking for people who think a 125 is a small tank! There's gotta be a couple more people around here who like REAL fish!

I live close to Pittsburgh and want to get something going and same I'm looking for people that don't buy fish at petco and say won't this fit in a 10 gallon lol

Erie Aquarium Society....unfortunately they are not into the same caliber of fish that I'm into. Good organization tho, and I never miss a meeting even tho it's an hour qnd q half drive each way

I'd be happy if we could just meet up once or twice a year. Maybe some sort of big fish auction or something along those lines. Really isn't any monster fish focused events anywhere near here. Seems to me something well organized in western PA could attract people from OH, VA, WV, IN, IL, NY, NJ, and who knows where else.

I could be convinced to drive into the Pittsburgh area from NJ. Erie is a much tougher sell, though there used to be a nice fish store up there that I forget the name of... bought my first L137 there
