Hello all !

I'm attaching a picture of my friend's jaguar and it's eye getting opaque white slowly....

Can someone suggest what to do ?

It's serious matter I think please help what's this & how to cure ?image.jpeg

From the picture look like the pupil already white out...it's blind. I don't think any medicine can cure that, I don't think its cloudy eyes either, keep water clean and lets see other members has something else to suggest.

If you say its getting white slowly, then it must be cloudy eye and can try some treatment. If it has been like that for some time, then the possibility of damage/blindness can already be there.

Try:
More frequent water change (20-30 % every 2 days)
Adding Aquarium Salt
Maintain Temperature around 28 C
Treat with Anti Cloudy Eye medicine (contact your LFS)

Its blind from that eye now and there is nothing to do at this point. This is classic Streptococcus infection. I would treat with Amoxil for 5-7days to prevent spread of this disease. But that eye is unlikely to fix now

I had a fish that was starting to get a cloudy eye so I started doing a few extra water changes keeping the water crystal clear and it went away.

cloudy eye is usually a sign of failing water quality, check parameters; then do a large water change, and keep on top of nitrates. This is a good starting point for then diagnosing potential diseases
