Im not sure where to post this. I am not one to grow or maintain live plants, but I like the look plants add to a tank. I was looking at adding some fake ones. The prices on some of these are kinda high so looking for a cheaper way. I thought of the fake plants you can buy to make floral arrangements. The selection is way better and you can find really large plants for just a couple of bucks. I know these have a wire inside so you can bend and form them. Will this metal inside of the plants harm fish? Has anyone used these before? post your thoughts and pics if you have them.

sounds ugly...

topfin sells cheap pants at petsmart... just buy one everytime your in there. i think the biggest one is $5.

Thanks Hoyo12. I like the pics . Are these plants the type im am talking about with the floral wire inside or are these solid plastic, silk. Im trying to find out if anyone has tried the type you find in the floral crafts dept. Like you would find in walmart, Target and so forth.
There is a huge selection of real looking plants in these places but they are not really design for an aquarium. Im wondering if they are safe?

im sure iif you get the ones with the metal inside (and they make them without metal) and rinse them in hot water they will be fine

They are the ones with the wire inside; once again, never noticed any problems.

check out Michael's. Their plants look much better than anything made for an aquarium, and cost much less. These all came from Michael's:
