I believe someone posted a similar thread a couple years ago, but nobody gave a direct answer. Where I live Cuban Tree Frogs are an invasive nuisance, and there is hundreds of them in my yard. While I try to remove them from the ecosystem whenever I get ahold of them, I feel there must be a better way of disposing if them besides just throwing them away. I’ve read a little bit about them and some say they have a slight toxin. However this toxin seems to be harmless to pets. So I was wondering if anyone has fed these to their fish?

Cuban tree frogs are no more toxic than most normal amphibians, so may be great food for predatory fish.
I have watched trout devour frogs people scare into jumping in the water in Wisconsin.
You may want to experiment with a less than expensive, or favorite fish just to start your feeding program.
On the island where I live, almost all frogs and even tadpoles are toxic, consequently there are no fresh water fish.

I have read that arowana love frogs and many keepers use them as food...not sure if they use Cuban tree frogs though.
Oh yeah.I can imagine quite a feeding frenzy after dumping in a bucket load of invasive frogs.
Has anyone actually fed their fish Cuban Tree frogs though? I would imagine an ery ery would probably take one down pretty easily.
I don't see why you couldn't feed them to your fish, but I like to avoid live foods due to risk of parasites.
Most frogs would expierience terrestrial parasites. Yes they still pose a risk of carrying water borne diseases and parasites but the risk is far less so than feeding live fish. Most terrestrial diseases and parasites do not transfer to aquatic systems. This is why earthworms are for the most part a safe feeder. The risk associated with earthworms would be soil contaminants and bioaccumulation.
