  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
whoa. that sounds out of the ordinary. ive heard soem fish do eat insects so depending on the type of fish you care for, it might be ok.

My Oscars as greedy as they were never ate them.They spit them out on the first try and that was it.

I had the same thing happen to me...Different Oscars at different times of ownership, both spat the slugs out....so NO!!

i've wondered the same thing. i seem to get a lot of slugs almost every year, and was trying to think of something better to do with them than throwing them into my neighbors yard. :D

You can pour salt on them and watch them do their wicked witch routine...."I'm meltinnng"

i remember couple years ago back in middle school, we had an outdoor camp week .... we had to lick a banana slug :crazy:
:yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck:

they tasted nasty , i wouldnt be surprised if even fish wont touch it :yuck::yuck:

Puffers absolutely love them! Just make sure the slugs haven't been exposed to any pesticides, herbicides, or any other chemicals that may harm your fish.
