I know you can feed raw shrimp and prawns but what type of raw fish can be feed? Also can feeding these harm certian types of fish?
Thanks

a lot of folks like using tilapis, but you can use catfish as well. not taking into consideration what fish are available to you

i think the only one people don't advise are salmon and maybe trout because of really high oil contents

I feed my toadfish and eel raw fish. I bought some tilapia, pollock, and octopus from an asian market (frozen.) Whenever the eel or toadfish don't eat it, I give it to my goldfish (they are pretty big goldfish.)

I've been wondering this same thing, since I've been using raw fish so often recently.

i have fed tilapia, anchovies, and some mundi fillet in the past.

You start to use raw frozen as more and more of your fish grow up. Once you have alot of mouths to feed you kind of have to feed raw in order to save a little money.

it is super healthy to feed predator fish raw fish/shrimp meat.............Always stick to white fish meat, and stay away from red fish meat when thinking about a diet for your predator fish.....When you get to larger fish like Arowana or Piranha, you can feed whole shrimp with shell with no worries..........Smaller fish like Oscars can be fed chopped up Tialpia slices or chopped up prawns...........Popcorn shimp and krill are an excellant food source to feed every other day, or even once everyday..........Krill adds a lot of color enhancing things to the body............

The fish in the tank I would be feeding are Leapord Ctenpoma, Brown Knife, Angel fish, Discus, Sen. Bichir, Peacock eel, Featherfin catfish, Blood parrot, and a vampire pleco.
