right now im feeding my tropheus O.S.I spriulina aquarium flake food and i was wondering if i could supplement that with either spectrum new life cichlid formula or HBH african cichlid sinking pellet fish food Attack!

i was also wondering what the tropheus experts feed their fish because i want a varied diet and do not want to be the cause of bloat for them

I have my Tropheus on a strict diet of a 95% spirulina flake. I'm a big fan of NLS but my guys suffered bloat using their chiclid formula. Funny, there's a picture of one right on the label?

I also give them romaine and cucumbers as a treat.

i have about 18 tropheus's, when they are small it is ok to feed them flakes but not when they get larger just like frontosa not good it all,as far as food they love veg y food, no protein !!!!! like worms...dont...
 
NLS cichlid formula. (1mm sinking)

I've lost count as to how many tropheus breeders I know that feed this to their various species of trophs, and none of them ever have bloat issues.
Bloat can be triggered by numerous things, diet is often blamed, but seldom the cause.
 
Where is the best/cheapest place to get NLS? I am going with tropheus shortly and used OSI for a group I had about 5 years ago.
