Feeding tuna?

I have never feed my fish canned tuna but have fed them raw yellowfin tun flesh cubed up. I think it best to stick to raw food it normally has the most nutrients. Aswell as tuna I feed my fish prawns, catfish, pike, salmon, trout, and superworms. Just some ideas...

I do it

I have had my RBPs solid white canned tuna in water. But first I put it in a strainer and run water (freshwater/distilled through it) and then I feed it to them. They love it. I also feed them pieces of chicken, steak, and fish fillet (all raw) this is besides the feeders and pellets I'd give them. This is just a treat.

i have heard because there may be salt/ preservatives in canned tuna its not recommended.
Yellowfin tuna also has one of the highest mercury contents of supermarket fish.

This is correct information. I would not suggest it.

your fish could get mercury poisoning. this question was asked at aquariacentral and someone said their neice or nephew got mercury poisoning from eating alot of tuna, so i bet it would be alot easyer for a fish to get it.
