Here is the 55 gallon native tank ive been working on. I am new to the aquarium world and have been lurking on here reading posts alot to gather information. i found a good deal on trueaqua.com for the 264gph cannister filter kit and im loving it so far. Not name brand but it is so quiet that its like its not even there. Tank stays really clear and the fish seem happy. I went out and found the driftwood and the rocks myself and was really happy with how they turned out. the substrate is just peagravel with a little bit of river rock from lowes. I am planning on adding some live plants eventually just havent found what i want yet. Right now i have 2 black crappies, 1 small walleye, and 2 large perch in the tank but i will eventually remove the large perch and replace with a smaller perch, a bluegill or sunny, and id love to find a small white sucker or catfish to ad as well.

Love the tank .... the wood looks great ! Im loving the walleye also. Turn your room lights off and take a pic with no flash it will bring the color of the fish out better.

My favorite combo in my 210 was chain pickerel and yellow perch. I find though, that the yellow perch spend most of their time laying on the bottom. My white perch were always more active in the middle of the water column.
