Fish can drive a vehicle

Some scientists strive to make the world a better, and safer place for us. Their work in formulating medication to fight the current pandemic is a good, and very topical example.....

Other scientists? Well....

Pretty amazing. I always wondered what my fish would do if they could run around my house.
Don't know why this is such a big deal, they've spent hundreds of generations in tanks...

Not sure about this one. (Yes I read the article) I know fish are smarter than people think and they have been proven to use stones as tool to help open shellfish and crustaceans but as for intentionally directing a “vehicle” to me sounds a bit ridiculous. I’ve always had interest in how Brains of other animals function and being in the fish hobby I do tons of research in my spare time on fish and how their brains work and to me I just can’t see this task of training a fish to drive is a bit ridiculous. I entirely believe that the fish directed the vehicle to the food but I also feel like there’s more behind it. Train the fish what a pink light is and that it means food and then easily put the code in for a camera to follow the fish and put it on a 3D infinite plain mapped out to the exact room their in and have program it so that the camera tracks the fish’s movements and that date from the camera goes to a computer connected to a motor the computer tells the motor to go towards the coordinates the fish is going to on this 3D plain and of course the fish is going to move to what he’s familiar with and knows means a reward. I don’t like that they take credit for teaching a fish to drive but in reality they just used some basic coding and programming that tells a motor to move the direction the fish is going. Edit. Yes the fish is basically driving but the fish isn’t aware of what he’s actually doing, all he thinks is he’s getting food
