I have a 7 or 8 inch sleeper goby (freshwater) and he seems as healthy as can be! He swims around normal, eats, recognizes me and you know the rest. But i have been noticing he has some things on him. One being these white stringy things and kind of a red bump on his lips. He also has a couple of bumps on his scales and in those areas the scales are raised more than the others and they have a kinda pink tone to them. There is a fox face pimelodid and a rapheal cat in there. Could this be from him hitting their spikes or is it a disease of some sort? I will provide pics.

Hard to tell from the pics, but raised scales sound like they could be a parasite of some sort? The lip is mostlikely an injury and will heal itself.

Don’t see much on the scales. Don’t see the red bump in mouth either. I do see a bump but not red. Could be just lymphocystis on the body and in mouth. It can happen would just watch and as long as it’s acting normal then I suggest watch. Keep water clean. Maybe someone else sees more than my old man eyes lol.

I do see what your talking about with the red things on its side from that new pic. I would try googling external parisites and see if any of them look like what your fish has.

There's a small bump with black coloured protrusion on the lower jaw of my geo for over a week now. Any possibility it's some kind of parasite? Water temperature is maintained at a constant 70°-80°F.
Greatly appreciate it if someone could shed some light
