I have a 10 gallon standard tank. What should I put in it. I want a middle swimming fish a top swimming fish and a bottom swimming fish.

Clown killis will be difficult to keep long term with those fish.
In such a small tank I would just do guppies and a small cory sp (many corydoras get 2"+!)

You could keep a nice betta in that mix too. It would act as crowd control for guppies.
I stress nice because a bad one would beat the crap out of tankmates.
Wild type looks nice and isn’t as bloodthirsty as the designer bettas (which were bred for aggression).

The dwarf species such as the Pygmaeus would be fine. Also they swim most of the time if OP get's a group of them.

Pygmy cories are great little fish! I had a few and they were more active than regular sized ones!
