Fish Tank Direct vs Midwest Aquarium - anyone bought from them?

I am going to purchase a New Acrylic Tank within the week.

I have spoke with both Fish Tank Direct and Midwest Aquariums.
Both seem cool, Price is almost exact, time frame is the same, Both were recommended by someone I know.
SO - Have any of you bought from them and how was your experience?

i haven’t purchased from either of them, but have found Tenecor quotes to be attractive and quality good.

I think Fish Tanks Direct is just a middleman/reseller. I know they sell the Tsunami brand tanks. Midwest Customs is an actual builder and their tanks are super well made (I haven’t purchased from them but have seen one of their tanks in person and it was flawless). They would get my vote.

fish tanks direct has there tanks made by sun coast aquarium they will let you deal with them I just had them make a 670 gallon tank 2 wet dry stand and ato already I'm getting them sent to me the 2cnd week of may

also I wanted to see there shop so I went there and also when the tank was done saw it in person just a little piece of mind
can't wait to have it in my house

Looks like Tsunami brand tanks are made by Suncoast Aquarium. Can you deal with Suncoast Directly? Dose it matter?

Over the past 10 years, folks have relayed their thoughts about MidWest and getting a customized aquarium. Lots' of lessons learned/ideas on getting a custom aquarium. Some no longer post here so it's best just to do a search on MidWest across the forum
