Just wanted to post some pictures of my very first step in the hobby of fish keeping, had this guy for about 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier. He’s always eager to see me (probably thinking he’ll get some food). I keep him mostly on pellets (platinum head haunches) and the occasional frozen blood worm cube. Is there anything else I should use to supplement his diet? Any advice is much appreciated! (I’m not good at taking pics)

I recommend you start from scratch with his diet and stop feeding bloodworms and okiko platinum.

Definitely stop with the bloodworms for sure. Bio gold or something similar would be a great starting point.

NLS, Hikari, omega one, bug bites, northfin are all good quality pellets to consider. Any of these is much better for your fish than okiko.

Right on! I really appreciate the input guys, I’ll definitely change up his diet.

See if he'll eat algae wafers. Some fish like egg whites cut into cubes.

He shares a 75gal space with a bristle nose pleco and never shows any interest in his algae wafers, but the egg white cubes sounds interesting. I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks for the advice.
