they look very nice, the markings are really clear and right now they almost look like thai but they're gonna have some crazy colors based on the looks of those parents. Im also having problems getting my female fh to lay eggs. How long does it take for eggs to develop once they pair up?

I am by no means an expert. My female once she was settled into her tank and feeding regular was ready to lay eggs in two weeks. Now she lays about every three weeks. It has a lot to do with diet and the fish itself. There are some people on here with tons of experience hopefully they chime in.KingOfKings420;4541331; said:
wow that parrot/bonsai pair should make some interesting fry, I don't have very much experience with breeding either, my convicts have bred several times and my dovii pair spawned once already but they ate their eggs... i just finished setting up my flowerhorn breeding tank today tho so hopefully they'll work out as good as yours.
