One of my flowerhorn is developing gill curl on the soft tissue on the left side of his gills, it didn't reach the hard tissue yet. The soft tissue just curl up but the hard tissue remain normal. Does the curl affect the oxygen intake of the fish?
I know arowana are prone to gill curl. The King of DIY on YouTube cured his by increasing the flow in his tank. Maybe install a powerhead or something to get the water moving easier for the fish.
