Hey guys I really need some help,

My FH is in a really bad spot. I’ve had this guy for just over a year now and a few days ago I noticed a couple small white dots/ scales on his head. (First pics). I turned the temp in his tank up to 89 degrees and started treating the tank with salt. Over the next 3 days his head has gotten much worse and I have run out of ideas of what is happening to him. I have watched countless videos and read many posts but nothing comes close to what I am seeing on my fish. The weirdest part is that he sits in the corner of my tank with his wound out of the water, only coming out when I am in the room. He is eating is about 1/2 his normal intake. I don’t think this is “Hole in head” judging by the effected area. The last couple of pics were taken tonight after a water change and another salt treatment. I do 1/4 water changes weekly and never had any issues at all with him until these last few days. If you guys have any ideas please let me know...

looks like HITH with secondary infection. I'm sure some one with more FH experience is going to ask the basics about how big is the tank? How much filtration? What are the water quality parameters? Just to start off with

lower the temperature to 78f slowly, no more than a few degrees a day, many bacterial infection get worse as result of high temperature
