There are over 10 years of examples of these breedings on mfk alone.HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE??!?! I MUST TRY THIS MYSELF!!!!
What happens if you continue the line? There are over 10 years of examples of these breedings on mfk alone.
Possibilities are almost endless with hybrids. Isolating desired traits and keeping in mind that fertility could be scarce down the line is hard. Shortbody deformity has been proven to be a dominant trait when its "a" strain x "a" strain. Almost always recessive when mixing types. This pair may throw a few but the majority will be long bodied and quite bland. Easy to cull a spawn like this. What happens if you continue the line?
Bland is a relative term. If I had this tank I’d pick my favorite and sell the rest to a less-than-savy LFS. Then see if there’s anything fun.Possibilities are almost endless with hybrids. I got some fry from my male SRD and female parrotAbout six weeks ago, I noticed my Flowerhorn Parrot male bred with my Blood Parrot female. I’ll post pictures below (and keep you all updated), but I do have a question: what do you guys do with some of these fry thay don’t have a blood parrot body type and look to be a bit longer?
