Flowerhorns eye popping out?

I dont know what’s happening i have nothing in the tank my water was clean, i dont know if the pleco cut him above his eye or what.. water is good i dont know if the move from the aquarium to my house scared him or what.. but ive been treating with melafix but the eye just gets worst

You need a true antibiotic like Seachem Kanaplex.

treat in QT with 1 tablespoon of epsom salt per 5 gallons for 1 week (for swelling). Add in Seachem Kanaplex for the bacterial infection, treating for the maximum period per directions. Add in methylene blue to help with recovery for 2 weeks.

No it's very very weak. Do a large water or multiple water changes to remove it from the water.

Yes do a water change and dose the other medicines at least 3 hours later after adding water conditioner.

Why dose 3 hours after adding the conditioner rather than right after? Just curious
