Fluval E Heater

Hello guys
I have the 300w E Fluval heater on my tank and for some reason recently it displays the "LF" for low flow for hours on end and then sometimes it doesnt. Nothing has changed and ive had it a good few months and its never said it before. Its literally next to my fx6 outlet and even on full blast it doesnt change. I have the fluval set to quite a low setting as its only a 240l tank and dont want to upset the fish but I was wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

The temp is always fine and in green and has never swayed from that other than this recent hot summer. Should I just ignore it seen as temps are fine and there is a flow?

yep I had the same problem. I had to run a powerhead in the tank to stop it from erroring out. My latest issue with this heater is i cant lower the temp using the knob. It will only allow me to increase but not decrease. I lost my receipt so Fluval won’t honor my warranty claim. Guess what? They just lost a customer! I’ll take my business to Aqueon and Marineland bcuz they have good customer support policies.

I had to remove the guard from mine. I bought two more and the first thing I always do is remove the guard. Not always an option though.

Do they have different models that you cannot remove the guards? My guard pop off easily with a screw driver. I dipped my in vinegar solution today and some debris came off from the knob. I am hoping that fix it. Will test later and update.

I got good experience on the warranty they sent me a new one, after I print mines out on amazon. the heater I think is not that strong on a cold day and always display error so I have to unplug it and plug it back in. if it still have error I put a air stone underneath it and see if the error gone or not. if not I contact the manufacture.
